![]() | The Armas-Kali curriculum is a based around Filipino, Thai and Okinawan weapons arts. Students will study the five main types of weapon use:
- Impact Weapons: Sticks, Staffs, Clubs etc. - Edged Weapons: Knives, Swords, hatchet etc. - Puncture Weapons: Knife, Spear, Sword, Improvised etc. - Flexible Weapons: Sarong, Malong, T-Shirt, Jacket, Rope - Projectile Weapons: Rocks, Knives, Arrows, Guns etc. The curriculum consists of Slashing, Thrusting, Hacking, Striking, Disarms, Trapping, Locks & Tie-Ups. Students will learn all these elments as well as develop coordination, timing, range, foot & body movement, speed, power and grace. Some of the weapons taught in Armas-Kali are: Single Stick, Double Stick, Single Knife, Double Knife, Stick & Knife Combination (Espada Y Daga), Single Sword, Double Sword, Staff, Sarong/Malong and Karambit.
