 | Disc 1) Inayan Dequerdas was created by the late Mangisursuro Michael G. Inay from his experiences in the Filipino Martial Arts and Law Enforcement training. Inayan Dequerdas is a simple but effective style of weapon defense that is easy to teach and learn when little time is available for training. The simplicity and effectiveness of this style makes it especially suited for police and security officers as well as martial artist of all levels. On this DVD you will learn the basics of the Inayan Dequerdas; angles of attack, basic footwork, blocking engagements, disarms as well as stress drills to test the assimilation of the techniques
Disc 2)Inayan Larga Mano is a devastating long range style which is based on the fighting principles of the Kampilan, the mysterious long sword of the Pihilippines. Distance, control, locks, counters, drills and applications are demonstrated in this video. Disc 3) Inayan Sinawali is a double stick style of training in the filipino martial arts. It uses different striking patterns to develop proficiency with double weapons. Often noted for its fast "weaving" (hence the name Sinawali) of striking patterns. In this tape the standard Inayan Sinawali Drills, 2 count through 9 count will be demonstrated. The offside 5 - 7 count Sinawalis will be shown along with basic loading (chambering) positions. Sinawali helps to develop eye-hand coordination, timing, footwork, rhythm, focus, sensitivity, fluidity, concentration and hand/wrist flexibility. |
